This is a stainless steel IWC Pilot Chronograph "LE PETITE PRINCE" IW377717. It has an integral IWC link stainless steel bracelet with a folding deployment buckle, and a scratch resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal that's secured against displacement by drops in air pressure. There are round chronograph pushbuttons, and a screw-down signed winding crown. There is a solid screw-down case back engraved with "WC – EDITION LE PETITE PRINCE - 6 BAR," a serial number, and a high relief engraving of the little prince in the center. The 43mm diameter solid three-body case, stepped angled bezel, downturned lugs, and bracelet are polished/brushed. The dial is blue with illuminated Arabic numeral and rectangular hour markers, an outer luminescent minute/second track, and white luminous steel "Spitfire" propeller-shaped "Spitfire" hands. It has a center sweep seconds chronograph hand, and a large luminous triangle at 12 o'clock. There is a rectangular day and date aperture window at the 3 o’clock position, and there are three blue subsidiary dials, including a running seconds dial with a red hand at 9 o'clock, a 12-hour register at 6 o'clock, and there is a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 12 o'clock. It has a 44-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 60 meters/180 feet. The 15mm thick case, dial, and movement are signed. This IWC Pilot Chronograph LE PETITE PRINCE IW377717 has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 79320 movement that's surrounded by a soft-iron inner case for protection against magnetic fields. It's rhodium plated, with Cotes de Geneve embellishment, and a shock absorber mechanism. It's constructed with 31 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance that's adjusted for temperature and 5 positions. It includes a self-compensating flat balance spring and a small hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. The rotor oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
